Sorry for the long time without update to the bug. As this task was getting quite large, I started tracking it in a branch on github which you can find here: https://github.com/Slow3000/webkit/tree/webview-mov
It is still slightly hackish, but working for most cases in MiniBrowser. I will gather some unit test results over the weekend.
