When using column-count or -webkit-columns-count the first block displayed is 3-5px higher than others. See demonstration here : http://jsfiddle.net/jmcollin92/bBMYs/ This is reproduce with Chrome "Version 23.0.1271.97 m" under Windows 7. I don't try with other versions or others OS. The problem is not reproductible with firefox.

Another workaround is to specify a "margin-top: 5px;" in your contained div.
