Wen clicking the "research" tab in the purple bar while viewing a listing, one is taken to the research page

the car/manufacturer I was looking at was a Volvo...when I get to this research page it is listed as "saleen".  So, I try to change to "Volvo" and it continues to revert to "Saleen" in the pull down menu.

Using Safari when you click on Research the page automatically loads to the manufacturer of the car you just looked at.  Which, even if it didn't automatically select it no big deal, but I am *** unable to manually select the proper manufacturer from the resulting pull down menu.

((I did a search but don't always understand what I read.  Am unable to discern the degree of relation to BUG 9613, but it only thing that is unresolved that also deals w/ pull down menus...?))

I cannot reproduce this with stock 10.4.7 Safari or TOT.

Please provide detailed steps to reproduce (starting with http://www.cars.com, since the URL you gave is transient, and no longer leads anywhere).
