This is useful for things like the popup widgets in Google Maps. Right now, if you start the selection in a popup and end it somewhere in the other Maps chrome, you end up with a selection that also selects the map tiles.

The was renamed to 'contain', and Safari had this as an experimental feature a while ago. I don't think there is further action needed on this specific task.
