The hover effect on the menu's is wrong, works properly in firefox. This goes for all Dell sites.

Reduction of text displacement in pop-ups

This reduction only shows the text displacement in the pop-ups, the other issues (e.g. placement of pop-up) still need reduction, I think.

Has Dell's site changed to remove this issue? 

ToT's rendering appears to match Firefox's from what I can see. If it has changed, does anyone have it saved locally to create a reduction from?

Dell's site has obviously changed, as Alex Taylor says, so webkit now renders it the same as Firefox. 

I have a local copy of the old page (that works tolerably). I don't remember what looked wrong earlier, but now (in latest nightly) the menus are shifted slightly to the left, and the text of the menu items are also shifted to the left. The reduction that already is in this report looks like at least half the problem to me.

If you want to, I could zip and upload the old page, but it's ~400K.

I suppose that the HitListCandidate keyword should be removed now, since www.dell.com works as it should?

Dell page

The Dell page when the bug was still present, saved using Firefox. For some reason the menus are duplicated.

Added the original Dell page with the bug showing. Reopening.

Fithre reduction of text-indent bug

Further reduced this page. This behaviour is exhibited when a block element is placed inside an inline container which has text-indent. It appears that WebKit applies an implicit display:block to the inline container. 

In this case FireFox renders it differently most likely due to a Firefox bug relating to different behaviour for tables, changing this element to a <div> makes Firefox match WebKit rendering. It appears Firefox doesn't support text-indent inheritance into tables even when the container is block.

This is looking more like a Firefox bug than a WebKit bug.

Using attached reduction, STP169 matches with Chrome Canary 115 and Firefox Nightly 114, I am not able to see any bug or mis-rendering or text-indent bug.

I think we can close this now as "RESOLVED CONFIGURATION CHANGED".
