<thetext>whoops, forgot to finish my thoughts...

yahoo.com unveiled a new interface today and they are blocking Safari, saying they support winIE and firefox 1.5. they are pretty strict on the firefox 1.5, too, since spoofing as 1.0.3 didn't result in the new interface. spoofing as winIE works, and I haven't found anything on the front page that doesn't work yet. </thetext>

<thetext>The tour didn't work for me even when I spoofed as WinIE.

<thetext>I tested a bunch, and the only obvious problem I could find was incorrect layout on the first step of the tour. Everything else seems to work ok.</thetext>

<thetext>whoops, re-adding hitlist keyword. We're keeping the keyword on resolved bugs. </thetext>

<thetext>The "New My Yahoo" which could be viewed via http://cm.my.yahoo.com complains about Safari current final version and Yahoo's new (?) suggestion system actually got an entry for it which Yahoo promises that it won't be "final" without Safari support based on the fact that many in house machines use Safari.

Related links:
http://cm.my.yahoo.com (subject to change when it is final)
http://suggestions.yahoo.com/detail/?prop=my&fid=10635 (The My Yahoo official suggestion board which Yahoo says "It is reviewed" and promises fix until final version shipped. It could be that they are waiting for Leopard Safari to work on issue (just a guess as old time yahoo user)

If you are a Yahoo user, you should vote for it since 29 votes sounds very low. I am posting this comment as an update to "New Yahoo" bug since I don't want to open a new bug entry for it. The "new my yahoo" and "new yahoo" are very related sites which you can figure after seeing the new "my yahoo".

<thetext>apologies for forgetting a very critical thing. The "New My Yahoo" is actually at beta state right now and there are some actual bugs even with supported browsers.
