When I recently added :root { -webkit-hyphens:auto; } to my User CSS file, I noticed that some table rows would hyphenate, and grow vertically onto a second line, whereas others would curtail on the ellipsis as before. I realise it is slightly outside the remit of the original CSS declaration, but I think white-space:pre; and white-space:nowrap; should disallow hyphenation too. 464162 1 mitz 2011-09-08 10:54:17 -0700 I cannot reproduce this based on the verbal description.
