You can see it in other browsers when they highlight elements when you hover them in web inspector. Qt has stubs for this functionality: void InspectorClientQt::highlight(Node*) { notImplemented(); } void InspectorClientQt::hideHighlight() { notImplemented(); } It would be interesting for me to implement this - but I am not sure where to start.
