<thetext>A problem we've been seeing as we stage adoption of Swift API in the SDK is that Swift provides a number of language features that make it possible for library authors to make source-compatible but ABI-breaking changes. For example, adding new parameters to a function with default values.

Since we track SPI usage at the symbol level, this causes our allowlists to go out of date as the SDK changes, despite us not changing the Swift declarations we bind to. It would be helpful to have a higher-level way to describe the Swift interfaces we are using.</thetext>
