I believe at some point in time the CSSWG resolved on an issue that would have explained Safari&apos;s behavior when this was occurring: https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/7461

I think there were also some WPTs that assert this behavior: https://wpt.fyi/results/css/css-sizing/aspect-ratio/block-aspect-ratio-039.html?label=experimental&amp;label=master&amp;aligned
Safari was passing these tests but other browsers were failing until around July 2024. Since then it seem like all browsers agree on the rendering of the testcase.

Could you let me know if you are still experiencing some issues on your site that occur on Safari only?</thetext>
