I'm trying to use WebAudio API on top of a video element. The src is an HLS stream protected with FPS DRM. We use a script to modulate the volume of the left and right channels. The script works fine on chrome but not on Safari (mac & ios) or in a webview. We can hear the audio stream but we can't change the volume of either channel. It seems that the web audi API has no effect. I found this issue that seems to report the same problem : https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=180696. It's kind of old, but I can't find out if it has been resolved or not. Thank you for your time !
