It didn't happen in the previous version of Safari mobile. The issue can be reproduced if you open Safari on iOS 1.3 beta and load any website with a WebGL canvas and a text behind it. For the canvas, just set the clear color to something semi transparent. What I expect is to see the text behind the canvas.
