Compose message in gmail (in rich text formatting mode). 2. Type enough text (with spaces) to cause the text to wrap. 3. Highlight the text and click Remove Formatting button (Tx). 4. The text now all appears on one line (if it doesn't happen the first time, highlight it again and click the button again). It doesn't do that in other browsers (and is really annoying).
