The button should toggle between a yellow star and a green check symbol. The animations work good the first two times the animation runs and the third time I get a green star instead of a green check. So the color animation did run but not the shape animation. After that it's all wrong. So, in short. SMIL animations doesn't always run on beginElement(). 1883634 1 ahmad.saleem792 2022-07-14 09:25:47 -0700 I am unable to reproduce this bug in Safari 15.5 on macOS 12.4 based on attached codepen and I used "Private Window" to avoid any cache issue and I clicked the "Save" button multiple time and didn't see any "Green Star" as mentioned in Description.
