    <thetext>We should be able to confirm that our date functions work properly for all time zones. Right now, we get this coverage by running tests all year long -- which means we are sometimes in &quot;Daylight Savings Time&quot;, and other times in &quot;Standard Time&quot;.

This is good, but it would be better if each test run could place the machine into the appropriate mode to test both times of year, rather than waiting 6 months to see if something broke.</thetext>
