I'm able to enter these keys into the URL bar and search bar of the same program, and I've verified that it is not a hardware issue. I removed the Delete part of the binding, and 'p' and 'r' work fine in the text area after that. This seems like it must be a Webkit problem not xombrero per se (unless I'm mistaken) but I've also pointed to the bug report I filed to the Xombrero tracker. To clarify my setup: I'm running Xombrero (built from source) under X11 on Mac OS X 10.9.2 with dependencies installed via Macports. If I can provide further details please let me know.
