<thetext>1. Create two windows
2. In the non-frontmost window, command click on a link.

Actual: The new tab opens in the frontmost window.
Expected: The new tab should open in the same window the command click occurred.

Note: Also happens when command clicking on bookmarks in the Bookmarks bar.</thetext>

<thetext>FWIW, this was recently mentioned somewhere (macosxhints.com?) as a useful feature. Also, I'm not sure if this is a WebKit issue - sounds more related to Safari.</thetext>

<thetext>You're right, it was mentioned on macosxhints. Here is the article: http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20061027030208781

Most responses on that page think this is a bug, not feature.</thetext>

<thetext>Yes, I've confirmed this is a bug in Safari. It's not a bug in WebKit. So it only needs to be in Radar, not in bugs.webkit.org. And it is already in Radar although I don't have the bug number handy.

Closing as INVALID since we don't host bug reports for Safari here.</thetext>
