Description Alexei Svitkine 2008-05-21 17:38:27 PDT
The download link for a VMWare virtual appliance, such as the one on:

http://www.vmware.com/appliances/directory/1253

(Click "Download this Appliance")

Does not work in Safari. But works correctly when using Firefox 2.0. Changing the Safari user agent has no effect.

Confirmed with 3.1 and TOT. In the console I see that a JS exception has been raised, which is likely to be responsible for the problem:

Null value: http://www.vmware.com/files/templates/inc/library.js (line 6)

Found nearest Wayback archive copy: https://web.archive.org/web/20080517163154/http://www.vmware.com/appliances/directory/1253

Clicking 'Download this appliance' leads to redirection and it seems wayback don't have working copy of the page, so it would be difficult reproduce now.

Considering the website has changed and also browsers. Despite it being issue in the past, due to lack of steps to reproduce this, I am going to mark this as 'RESOLVED CONFIGURATION CHANGED'. Please reopen, if it still reproducible.
