Steps to reproduce:

1.  Go to bug url
2.  Make sure Window is wide enough to see blue/black vertically striped background.
3.  Move window from back and forth horizontally

Expected results:

It should be smooth

Actual results:

The background flashes

Tested with r32901

Note, it may just be an optical illusion

Sort of. It's an artifact of LCDs' response time. One way to verify that it is not a WebKit issue is to take a screenshot of the Safari window, open it in Preview (at full size) and drag the Preview window around.

Not the first time this has been reported on bugs.webkit.org, but I could not find the duplicate.
