i have enabled in preferences about opening the link in the same window i.e.,  when ever i clicked a link it should open in a single window in a tabbed manner.

But what i have experienced was when i click the link it open in a new window which is behave errors.

As my self a software tester i find critical

Frederick, thank you for reporting the issue! Unfortunately after investigating the problem I can say that the problem is related to Safari - a browser developed by Apple which uses Webkit engine: http://webkit.org/blog/101/back-to-basics/ So you should report the issue directly to apple: http://reporter.apple.com. Webkit developers are unable to fix the problem. Because of that I have to close this bug.

BTW. I think that this solution should fix the described problem:

"Edit the XML file located here:
C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Apple Computer\Safari\Preferences\com.apple.safari.plist

Add <key>TargetClicksCreateTabs<key><true/> in whatever seems to be the appropriate location."
