If you enable Leopard's QuartzGL globally by activating it in QuartzDebug, you will see that a lot flash plugin powered websites slow down a lot. Especially on the site mentioned the slow down of the video playback rate is good visible.

QuartzGL is disabled feature of Mac OS X due to serious problems with it. Moreover the report does not describe problem in Webkit. Bug report is INVALID.
