address bar flickers, in general- does not work at all
Comment 1 Mark Rowe (bdash) 2008-02-26 22:55:12 PST
Can you please be more specific about what the problem you are seeing is? Describing the steps required to reproduce the problem would be a great start.

When I click the RSS button in the address bar, it opens a new tab, which safari never did, and the address of the RSS feed disappears and appears indefinitely. The same happens when I enter in the address of a feed directly, except rather than a new tab, a new window opens. What seems to be happening is that, is reloading and canceling its connection to the address.

Have you set WebKit.app as your default RSS reader?
Comment 4 Virgil Taylor 2008-02-26 23:13:39 PST
I have, I checked that... and it still happened
Comment 5 Mark Rowe (bdash) 2008-02-26 23:24:37 PST
Set it to Safari. Does it still happen then?

The issue goes away- without changing applications, is this related to the WebKit menubar calling itself Safari- but to stay more on topic, when the default RSS reader is Webkit the issue mentioned above are an issue, while when it is set as Safari webkit process RSS feeds just fine
Comment 7 Mark Rowe (bdash) 2008-02-27 00:03:05 PST
Correct. This is a side-effect of the way the WebKit.app nightly build launcher works, and is not something that is fixable.
Comment 8 Virgil Taylor 2008-02-27 00:05:34 PST
not issue with webkit, but with how it works in 10.4
