Minor glitch whereas the favicons are lost and regained when one is selected on the bookmarks bar. This happens in pull-down sub-folders on the bookmarks bar. This is an old problem that exists in the current Safari.

Can you please describe the series of steps needed to reproduce the bug?  It's not clear from your description how to go about reproducing the problem.
