Description David Kilzer (:ddkilzer) 2007-10-30 17:43:48 PDT
* SUMMARY
The left navigation area overlaps with the central content area when rendering the URL in the bug.

* STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Launch Safari/WebKit.
2. Go to URL:  http://www.bus.iastate.edu/GradCareers/

* RESULTS
The left nav column overlaps with the central content area.

* REGRESSION
This is not a regression as Safari 2.0.4 (419.3) with original WebKit on Mac OS X 10.4.10 (8R218) renders the same way.

Tested with a local debug build of WebKit r27261 with Safari 3 Public Beta v. 3.0.3 (522.12.1) on Mac OS X 10.4.10 (8R218).

* NOTES
Firefox 2.0.0.6 renders as expected.
Opera 9.22 renders like WebKit.

Partial reduction

Partial reduction of the original page. (I didn't try to remove HTML attributes from the table-related tags, only remove unneeded tags and add some text and background color to demonstrate the issue.)
Comment 3 Robert Hogan 2013-07-22 10:27:15 PDT
We render the reduction the same as IE10, FF2 and Opera Presto. Closing.
