Description Darren VanBuren 2007-10-17 10:06:21 PDT
I'm using Safari 3.0.3 with the debug menu enabled (don't know if that makes a difference).
Safari always crashes when I run "run-webkit-nightly.cmd".
I'll try disabling the Debug Menu and see if that makes a difference.

Sorry if this is a dupe, I couldn't find my old bug.

Safari crashes for me with this as well, it worked just fine last week but something changed in Vista and now Safari won't work at all with the nightly build (nothing changed with Safari).

I should also add that Safari works fine if I roll back to the old WebKit.dll and WebKit.resources that came with the 3.03 install. The .cmd would load Safari with the windows nightly build just fine on Friday...and this morning (Monday) it simply crashes with the nightly build.
"Faulting application Safari.exe, version 3.522.15.5, time stamp 0x46a6f72c, faulting module Safari.exe, version 3.522.15.5, time stamp 0x46a6f72c, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x0008c125, process id 0x14ac, application start time 0x01c814d0f90801a5."

See Bug 15586 Comment #3. Don't use a WebKit nightly newer than r26759 with the current Safari.
