The cursor disappears when moving horizontally between bookmarks.  The highlight action happens.  When the cursor is brought up to a bookmark icon the cursor will switch from arrow to finger and stay visable.  Moving the cursor horizonally between icons and the cursor will disappear

I'm not sure that I understand the bug description correctly, but this sounds like a Safari issue (see <http://webkit.org/blog/101/back-to-basics/>).
