Summary: Replying to a closed HTML mail message does not quote the original body of the message being replied to. Steps to reproduce: 1. Start Mail with WebKit ToT. 2. Highlight HTML mail message without opening it. 3. Click "Reply" button. Expected results: A window should open with the original message body quoted in the body. Actual results: A window opens with a single blank line "quoted" in the body of the new message. Regression: Tested with a locally-built debug build of WebKit r19301 with Mail 2.1 (752/752.2) on Mac OS X 10.4.8 (8L127). This is a regression from shipping Mail 2.1 (752/752.2) on Mac OS X 10.4.8 (8L127). Notes: Originally reported in Bug 12491 Comment #2.
Fixed now.
Reopening per Bug 12491 Comment #6.
Piet, could you test this also to see if it still occurs? I won't be in front of my test Mac for a few hours. Thanks!
This only happens on certain HTML mail messages. I will attach an example.
