Description Kevin M. Dean 2007-01-24 07:58:04 PST
At the link above, the logo in the upper left is an embedded flash element as generated by the latest Flash app.

Related scripts added to the page via script tags:

http://test.nationalsalute.com/js/flash.js
http://test.nationalsalute.com/js/flash_logo.js

The problem occurs in Safari and Webkit.

After the page is loaded, hide the app and then return to the app and you'll notice that the logo is gone. To get it back, you need to click to another app and then it appears.

So it looks like something is not getting repainted when hiding and returning to the app.

One more thing. Switching to another tab and back or resizing the window also makes it reappear.

Confirm that problem occurs on most website having embedded flash content. Webkit and Leopard 10.5.2 doesn't change anything.

This appears to be fixed, perhaps by the recent flash beta (10.0 b218 ) I installed or maybe there was a webkit patch sometime back.
