II Issue:
Overlapping is seen in center column

III Conclusion:
issue: "display: block;" inside the select tag is causing the issue.if I change it to "display: inline;", the issue is resolved.

IV Other browsers:
IE7: ok
FF3: not ok
Opera9.24: not ok

The referenced page doesn't seem to have the problem any more, and I don't see any problem with the test case.

I'm marking this bug as closed.  Please reopen with a new testcase if the bug is still occurring.
