Applying an outline to a TD element causes the outline to collapse to the table cell contents if the cell has been expanded by larger neighboring cells.

Reproduction

The outlined TD should have an outline around the entire gray area not just the text

I am not able to reproduce this bug in Safari 16.3, WebKit ToT (261814@main) and it is matching with Chrome Canary 113 and Firefox Nightly 113.

Matching with all other browsers and never confirmed. Marking this as “RESOLVED WONTFIX”.
